In addition to our traditional sunset and sunrise sessions we offer our specialized Gulf Shores Family Beach Sunglass Photography Sessions and our popular Gulf Shores Family Photography Mini Sessions. Fast, fun, and easy our Sunglass and Matinee family beach photography sessions are great for families who are looking for a few cherished photos of their latest family beach experience. Discounted for the off peak times these sessions are offered, our Sunglass and Matinee sessions are generally best for groups of ten or fewer and ages six and up.
No matter the family photography session you choose you will be photographed on location along the beautiful beaches and natural areas of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Your can choose to join us at one of preferred locations or you can choose to have your Gulf Shores photographer meet your family at your vacation home or condo. In Gulf Shores we prefer the natural sea oat covered dunes and beautiful beaches of the Gulf State Park Pier and Gulf State Park Pavilion as our most preferred family beach photography location. Our Orange Beach photographers often shoot at picturesque locations in Orange Beach such as Alabama and Florida Points as well as the Gulf State Park Pier.
During a typical Gulf Shores Family Beach Photography Session our experienced Gulf Shores photography team member will take several hundred total photos. Each photograph taken is done so in a format called "RAW". According to Adobe, the maker of top grade professional editing software Lightroom and Photoshop, "a RAW file is lossless, meaning it captures uncompressed data from your camera sensor. Sometimes referred to as a digital negative, you can think of a RAW file as the raw “ingredients” of a photo that will need to be processed in order to bring out the picture’s full potential. Most professional photographers shoot in RAW because it gives them more information to work with in the post-processing phase." The Gulf Shores Family Photographers team believe the advantage of shooting in RAW is we get the opportunity to access the most information possible in order create the best possible images for our clients. And when you are in areas as beautiful as Gulf Shores we want all of that gorgeous data we can have.
Once your session is done and you go back to your relaxing vacation vibe the real work begins for the team at Orange Beach Family Photography. We begin by importing all of the raw photos taken and begin the exciting process of selecting the best of the best to undergo cropping, retouching, and editing. Our days long editing process is truly a labor of love. We take the time to touch each and every raw photo to ensure we deliver the best quality photographs possible.
​​We enhance each photo by adjusting standard professional elements such as color, contrast, and highlights. Whenever possible, we eliminate unwanted background objects such as poles, debris, and even people. We also work to reduce or remove hair fly-aways, lessen obvious pimples and blemishes, reduce shine, reduce perspiration and water spots, and reduce dark under eye circles if possible. Finally, we hand-pick certain images and often add special artistic touches to chosen poses such as black and white, sepia, watercolor, and other special effects. While we attempt to get the photos edited and into your gallery as quickly as possible, the process often takes up to two weeks to be completed.
Once your photos are ready for you to enjoy we will send you an email with a link to your photo gallery. From your password protected gallery you can share your photos with friends and family, post directly to Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest, download your images to your computer, and even purchase prints from our professional lab at half price. Family photography clients should expect their gallery to be viewable in less than two weeks of their session date.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
​
**Bookings** - Advanced reservations are required. All reservation must be made online or by telephone. No in person reservations accepted. All online reservations must be paid in full at time of booking with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. All telephone bookings require a $100 deposit at the time of booking. At the time of your booking we reserve a vessel, date, and time for your charter and instantly begin turning away other potential guests for that time and date.

**Timing** - We recommend all guests arrive approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time established in your reminder email. It is your responsibility to arrive at the dock on time and guests who arrive late can have their charters shortened or cancelled altogether with no refund given. Please plan in advance for traffic, weather, and other challenges that could delay your timely arrival.
**Cancellations** - Cancellations made outside of 14 days from the scheduled charter departure date will be refunded 50% of the deposit amount paid. Booking and/or credit cards fees are non refundable. Cancellations made less than 14 days from your scheduled departure date but more than 72 hours before your scheduled departure will be refunded 25% of the deposit amount paid. Booking and/or credit card fees are non refundable. Cancellations initiated inside of 72 hours prior to a charter scheduled departure date will be considered no shows and the credit card on file will be charged for the full amount of the charter booked. All sales inside 72 hours are final and non-refundable and non-transferable. Fins and Family Fishing LLC cannot be held responsible for and will not issue refunds for personal inconveniences, health related issues including sickness, family emergencies, injuries, weather related road conditions, flight delays / cancellations, public transportation delays, or traffic jams/accidents. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. **No-shows or Cancellations within 72 hours will be charged the entire price.**
